jobs where you travel

Envy is a desperate emotion. No? When a friend regales us you with tales of her 6-month trek across South Asia you should feel nothing but interest and admiration. You should definitely not feel that it wildly unfair that she took one of those jobs that travel the world and saw an elephant in the wild. (That would be scary, anyway.)

Jobs where you travel are open to most of us. Allow the green-headed monster we know as envy to morph into motivation. Get yourself one of those travel the world jobs. A career that carries you around the planet.

If something stirs within you when you listen to the tales told by an adventurer who’s been on the road, embrace it and get a job that will have you traveling. Careers can built on houseboats in Australia or in one-room apartments in Tokyo or in a lifeless office tower in Minnesota.
